This is a 40 hour 5 day course or alternate 3 weekend course.  The 5 day course is Monday through Friday and the alternate is over 3 different weekends (not usually consecutive). This course is for those interested in work in the field of domestic VIP/Executive Protection. The course includes an introduction to all types of protection work with emphasis on small one and two man teams. Subjects include but are not limited to: team skills, vehicle safety and bomb searches, security equipment, vehicle loading and seating, introduction to tactical driving*, route planning, counter surveillance, handgun skills and basic hand to hand and hand to weapon training. Certificate awarded at the conclusion of the course.

*The introduction to tactical driving includes breaking, turning while breaking and acceleration, high center of gravity vehicle driving and obstacle avoidance.

This is an 18 hour 3 day course that builds on the Level I course. It is for those who are serious about honing their hand to hand, tactical driving and handgun skills. It may be taught over two weekends. The tactical driving will include J turns, Bootlegger turns, K turns and team driving. Certificate awarded at the end of the course.

This is an 18 hour 3 day course for experienced VIP Protection Specialists or those who have completed Level I and Level II courses. This course includes advance tactical driving including barricade ramming and PIT maneuvers. The gun training will be shotgun and carbine handling in and out of vehicles. It will also include a review of terrorism, IEDs and understanding the importance of the foreign environment. Certificate awarded at the end of the course.
